Let me give you again the example.

You have 2 sec spell. For example use RoF.
You run to some location, you hit '4' to cast this spell, but after 0.5 secs (image it is your latency) you arive at this spot as server point (your movements are 0.5 secs late for the server). Thanks to the system developed by ANET you do not sence this latency and your skills arrive at time. BUT now casting a spell RIGHT after the move, you will automove after 0.5 secs AND your spell will get interupted. So basicly you must wait 0.5 secs everytime you stop moving before casting spells. For people with slow conection this time may incease to 1.5 secs.

Previously this was avoided thanks to the Anet sync system and worked very well, but now seems to be somehow broken.
Funny you say that, in my bug report I told them I think they had a latency issue on their hands. The server seems out of synch. Look at the monsters hitting people with teleporting swords on runs. I think this issue spans much further than just movement. After the bug report I know they are working on a fix, we just have to wait on the devs now. Something this serious will not be ignored. If it does, then I would know when to stop playing.

Note that guildwars had major latency issues with Factions during week 1. I think that because they are synching the new nightfall servers to the archive we are experiencing these "lag" issues. I really hope... for them... they wont be permanent

If you find you're cancelling a lot of things, try not moving until it's done. You're just used to being able to start moving just before it finished, and although you didn't move, you were used to doing it.

Default Materials Storage for everybody? -bug?

A friend of mine who owns Prophecies, but not Factions, has been wanting the materials storage even since he heard about it. I don't blame him.

The problem is it's now supposed to be open to everyone, at least according to the update notes. He went to a Xunlai representative, and paid for it, but he still doesn't have it. The Xunlai rep says he's already purchased the upgrade now, but there's no tab or anything.

Bug? Anyone else having this problem?

its a intended feature, stated on the updates.

But sound like a bug that its not working.

From the list of things going wrong, i am not surprised this is one of them.

You can say that again, it's so irritating and really getting on my nerves.

i would agree with such things, i prefered the sensitivity before made kiting alot easier, which from a monks point of view is essential for survival. this is only mildly irritating with 1/4 casts, where as something like SoD, is cancel so easily.

however another point not addressed is the camera's new knee jerk reaction to rotate behind the monk to see an off-screen heal, which is completely out of line, doesn't effect a pve monk so much, but in a gvg where your eyes should be on whats happening to have your entire view altered can be quite devastating.

please anet, fix this soon, soo many other monks are complaining in the local districts

Default Some Problems

Hey after the update I've been playing Alliance Battles in Etnaran Keys.

First off I noticed in the town, when people we're trying to join the group the names started to overlap the Accept and Rejected buttons instead of creating a scroll bar.

Then in the mission, I got stuck under the bridge and the /stuck command didnt do anything so I couldnt do anything the whole match. :S

besides the skills interrupting, the auto camera change is soooooo annoying. As a monk if you heal someone behind you, your camera turns 180 degrees. Then you heal someone in front of you, your camera turns 180 again. Trust me, that's not normal nor should it be.

Hey guys,

We know about the skills-being-interrupted wrongly issue and there should be a fix with the next update. It won't be a problem for too long .

was starting to get a bit fustrated, casting aegis on a monk was impossible while kiting around, had to be super safe and stop dead in my tracks and made sure my fingures wernt even close to the directional keys lol
